(NYSE: DVA) and a leading provider of kidney care services, today announced that the company has named John Wigneswaran, M.D., as its new vice president of clinical affairs for hospital services.

In this role, Dr. Wigneswaran will be overseeing hospital services and helping to evaluate new technology, equipment and pharmaceuticals. As a member of the Office of the Chief Medical Officer he will be developing new initiatives and programs to enhance physician engagement.
