DaVita Inc. announced today that Lori S. Richardson Pelliccioni has accepted an offer by DaVita Inc. to become the Chief Compliance Officer.

Most recently, Lori was a partner in the Health Care Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Her area of expertise was all aspects of healthcare corporate compliance, including assessment of program effectiveness and the provision of litigation support for cases involving federal, state, and private insurer claims. Lori is the author and principal investigator for The Compliance Effectiveness Study, the first empiric study of what constitutes effective corporate compliance.

Prior to her experience at PWC, Lori was an Assistant United States Attorney for six years, prosecuting healthcare fraud involving MediCare, Medi-Cal and the CHAMPUS programs.

Lori received a Ph.D. and Master of Public Health from the University of California at Los Angeles, School of Public Health, Department of Health Services. She also received her J.D. from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL and graduated with a B.S. from Moravian College.
