For more than a year, NEWSWEEK® worked with leading environmental researchers to rank the 500 largest U.S. companies based on their sustainability. DaVita® ranked No. 104 on the Environmental Reputation Score and No. 142 on the Environmental Impact Score.

This commitment to green business and carbon footprint management is part of the DaVita Village Green program, designed to reduce the environmental impact of the company's business practices.   --  Generating electricity with a net zero increase in carbon dioxide
      emissions.
