DaVita Medical Insights: Launching a Podcast for Physicians, by Physicians
Tune in for health care news, issues and trends affecting today's doctor

DENVER, May 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- DaVita Inc. (NYSE: DVA), a leading independent medical group and a leading global provider of kidney care services, today announced the launch of the DaVita Medical Insights podcast, led by DaVita physicians and featuring clinical experts from around the globe.

The podcast is presented in partnership with the DaVita Medical Insights blog, launched in August 2016.

DaVita Medical Insights aims to bring the physician community together and provide a platform to discuss patient care and the shifting landscape of health care. Discussions will cover topics including news and issues, clinical care, industry trends, practice management and research and innovation.

The first podcast aired on April 17 and focused on kidney transplant advocacy and innovations in the industry. The podcast featured:

  • Dr. Allen R. Nissenson, FACP, FASN, FNKF, chief medical officer of DaVita Kidney Care, emeritus professor of medicine, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA; and 
  • Dr. Gabriel M. Danovitch, John J. Kuiper chair of nephrology and renal transplantation, distinguished professor of medicine, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and medical director, kidney and pancreas transplant program, Ronald Reagan Medical Center at UCLA.
