UPDATE: All open DaVita dialysis centers in areas impacted by Winter Storm Uri have resumed normal operations.
Winter Storm Uri has created historic impact across Texas and part of Louisiana, cutting off access to power and water for more than three million households.
DaVita’s care teams across the region are working hard to help keep their patients, themselves and their families safe. As part of this effort, we are working to account for all DaVita patients. We are also coordinating with providers across the health care system, including other dialysis providers and hospitals, to help ensure continuity of care in areas where our centers have been affected. To bring DaVita dialysis centers back online as quickly as possible, we are staging generators across the state of Texas and bringing water tankers in from surrounding states.
Please dial 9-1-1 if you are in need of urgent medical care or emergency help. Like all health care providers, a number of our centers have closed intermittently as power and water comes and goes. For the latest information, please call DaVita Guest Services at 1-800-400-8331.
