DENVER, Aug. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DaVita HealthCare Partners (NYSE: DVA), one of the largest and most innovative health care communities, today announced it has named Mark Price as president for its HealthCare Partners Colorado market.

Price previously worked for ChenMed where he led their Management Services Organization, Practice Management Resources (PMR) division.  PMR provides management services, technology, and support for physician groups to help them succeed in a "value-based" delivery model, with PMR taking financial risk on the performance of the practices it partners with.  Price helped PMR grow in recent years from Florida into three additional states.

Prior to ChenMed, Price was a manager at Bain & Company where he helped clients with strategic, operational and organizational challenges. Earlier in his career, he was a process engineer at Eli Lilly.

Price holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a master's degree in engineering from Northwestern University.
