Mark Harrison Joins DaVita as CFO

DaVita Inc. announced today that Mark Harrison, 49, is joining DaVita Inc. as its Chief Financial Officer effective September 1, 2006.

Prior to joining DaVita, Mr. Harrison served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Allina Hospitals & Clinics in Minneapolis, MN, which he joined in 2003. Mr. Harrison co-founded Shattuck Hammond Partners LLC and served as a Principal and its West Coast Manager from 1993 to 2003. He was also a Principal and Manager of the West Coast Office of Cain Brothers, Shattuck and Company from 1988 through 1993. Previously Mark was with the Healthcare Group at Lehman Brothers from 1983 to 1988. Mr. Harrison earned a MBA, Finance, and a MPH, Health Administration, from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowdoin College.
