Total Renal Care Names Jonathan S. Wolin Vice President of Audit and Compliance
TORRANCE, Calif., May 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Total Renal Care Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: TRL) today announced the appointment of Jonathan S. Wolin, attorney and certified public accountant, to the newly created position of Vice President of Audit and Compliance. As part of TRL's broadened management team, Mr. Wolin and his team will oversee and ensure compliance with the company's legal, regulatory and financial procedures. He will report to Barry Cosgrove, Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Total Renal Care. Since 1994, Mr. Wolin has been a healthcare attorney at the law firm of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky & Popeo, P.C., which performs extensive work for TRL. As a partner and associate at the firm, he has gained significant expertise in regulatory, corporate and transactional matters and has extensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement issues. From 1990 to 1994 Mr. Wolin practiced law in San Francisco. In addition, he has a strong financial background, having worked as a senior tax consultant for Ernst & Young in 1989-1990 and an accountant for IBM from 1982 to 1986. Mr. Wolin, 37, earned a Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland.
