Hope in our Hometown: DaVita Celebrates the 2026 Transplant Games in Denver

This June, Denver will welcome champions of hope from across the U.S. for the 2026 Transplant Games.

Organized by the Transplant Life Foundation, this event brings together transplant recipients, living donors, donor families, healthcare professionals and supporters to celebrate the life-saving gift of organ, eye and tissue donation.

DaVita is proud to be a sponsor the Games, joining the community to honor the heroes who make transplant possible.

Throughout Denver, the Games offer opportunities for the Denver community to get involved, cheer on athletes and participants and learn more about the profound impact of living donation.

We’d love to see you there:

Meet our teammates, learn more about our transplant initiatives and discover how you can become an advocate for organ donation.

DaVita’s chief medical officer, Jeff Giullian, MD, will be on-site to talk about the importance of championing transplantation, and Angela Laino — a living donor and DaVita social worker — will share her perspective during the Closing Ceremonies.

Whether you’re participating in one of the events, cheering for others or exploring ways to support the transplant community, DaVita is on your team.

Supporting people across the kidney care and transplant journey is what drives us at DaVita. That includes high-quality care that supports patients before, during and after their transplant.

Since 2000, we have supported more than 135,000 people on their path to kidney transplantation, with a goal to support an additional 40,000 by 20301. To accomplish this, we are actively working to break down barriers to care by integrating innovative technology like MedSleuth’s BREEZE and delivering comprehensive, multidisciplinary care aimed at helping people take control of their kidney health and pursue the treatment options best for them.
